We Care

We Care

UPPCO customers can help low-income families in their own communities by contributing to the We Care program through their electric bills.

UPPCO will add to your bill the amount of your one-time pledge or ongoing monthly pledge and turn the donation over to the St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) in your area. There are no administrative fees, and UPPCO will send you a receipt for tax purposes. SVDP will use the We Care contributions to help those in need pay their electric bills, which frees up funds for other SVDP programs.

In 2010, UPPCO will contribute 50 cents for very dollar customers pledge up to $500 (that's a $250 match by UPPCO). You must be an UPPCO customer to participate. The program will run though 2010, and those who contributed before the match began in 2010 will have their contributions from January through March matched as well. Funding for the match is provided by shareholders of UPPCO's parent company.

To participate in the We Care program, please contact us or call 800-562-7680. There are no long-term contracts, and you can cancel your participation at any time.
