Preferred Due Date
Have you ever felt like all of your bills were due at the same time?
Balancing your expenses each month can be challenging. That's why Upper Peninsula Power Company
offers a Preferred Due Date billing option that allows you to choose your
utility bill due datewhatever date works best for you.
Simply choose:
- Any Calendar Day (1-31)
(Example: the 5th day of each month)
Note: If the 31st day is selected, the due date will be the last day of the month.
If the last day falls on a weekend or holiday, it will advance forward to the next
business day.
- Any Business Day (1-22)
(Example: the 3rd business day of each month)
Note: The actual date the bill will be due each month could change depending on
where the date falls each month.
- A Specific Number of Days After UPPCO Mails My Bill
(Example: 10, 15, 20 days after Public Service mails my bill)
Note: If Preferred Due Date falls on a weekend or a holiday, it will
advance forward to the next business day.
You may enroll in Preferred Due Date at
anytime. Your account balance must be up to date prior to selecting this plan.
This option is offered at no charge to residential customers.
