Service Installation Requirements for My Business or Farm
Before service can be installed, the following requirements must be met:
- Final building site plan must be emailed to gisland@wisconsinpublicservice.com (electronic version in Microstation or Autocad format) or sent to UPPCO via UPPCO GIS Services PO Box 19001 Green Bay WI 54307 (paper version).
- Smaller jobs without a formal building site plan can email or fax a site sketch to businesscenter@uppco.com or fax to 800-305-9754.
- The construction site and building foundation must be back-filled to within 4” of final grade.
- The service route must be cleared to 10’ wide.
- The electric meter base must be installed.
- If a cement pad for the transformer was poured, the pad must be cured for 10 days.
- An electrical inspection is required.
- Any underground private facilities must be marked and paths located.
- Permits and easements will need to be signed and on file with UPPCO.
- All service construction charges must be paid in advance of construction.
